My name is Lydia. I started Pet Palette Portraits to honour my childhood dog, Tess. Our time together was cut short by a really unfortunate medical complication but in that time, she made such a positive impact on me and my family. I wanted to find a way to capture her spirit and keep her memory alive.

Our pets mean so much to us and they are a huge part of our lives so why not let them know it?

The look of acrylic paint on white canvas is classic and timeless, so will complement all other home decor. The background is left blank so your pet is the centre of attention! A lot of time goes into getting the proportions and colour exactly right for each painting; which can take anywhere from 4-8 hours to complete. But, seeing the result and bringing pictures of pets to life is what I love to do!
